With teammate Jordan Reed (shoulder) ruled out, Davis is expected to start at tight end Sunday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Davis served as Washington's primary tight end when Reed was sidelined during Weeks 6 and 7 this season and accumulated eight catches on 10 targets for 129 yards and a touchdown in those appearances. Furthermore, he's gone for at least 50 yards in every game but one since then. That should comfort the Redskins offense in Reed's absence, even though the Cardinals secondary could make passing the ball harder than usual Sunday.
