Vernon Davis caught just one pass for five yards in Sunday's Week 17 win over the Cardinals.
Davis was questionable for the contest after sustaining a concussion last week against the Seahawks, but he played. However, he saw just two targets, which is becoming a weekly affair. Colin Kaepernick has developed an impressive rapport with Michael Crabtree, so he is dominating the targets. Davis caught just 41 passes for 548 yards and five touchdowns in what was a down regular season. Those totals are four-year lows. The 49ers earned the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye for the playoffs, so Davis will use that time to fully recover from his head injury. He could turn his season around by producing in the postseason.
