The Saints will acquire Unger and a first-round draft pick from the Seahawks in exchange for Jimmy Graham and a fourth-round pick, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
While the trade of Graham is the headline-grabber here, the move to obtain Unger is a nice boost to the Saints' offensive line, with center Jonathan Goodwin now an unrestricted free agent.
i think the saints won in this deal. they shed a massive contract, made a huge upgrade in their line and got a 1st round pick. its not like Brees cant or wont spread the ball around to anyone he has. Cooks value just went up, the Saints RB value just went up, Grahams value just took a nose dive, the Hawks O-line is taking hit after hit.
