Smith continues to struggle with Blaine Gabbert under center in San Francisco. His deep threat abilities are offset by his quarterback's inaccurate downfield arm. Gabbert did attempt to hit his speedy receiver on a go route in the second quarter but underthrew the ball and the play resulted in an ugly interception. Smith could benefit from a change in quarterback because Colin Kaepernick (shoulder) -- when healthy -- possesses a strong throwing arm. For now, he remains an untrustworthy wide receiver option in fantasy and that goes double against Arizona's premier secondary next week.
