Santonio Holmes (left foot, injured reserve) will have a second surgery in February to remove the plate from his foot but "hopes" to begin running in April.
Holmes declined to speculate on his availability for offseason workouts. He suffered the Lisfranc fracture in Week 4 and underwent surgery in early October. Due $7.5 million in guaranteed money in 2013, Holmes will return as the Jets' No. 1 receiver. We've seen it take some players multiple months to get over Lisfranc fractures, so New York's medical staff will keep a close eye on his foot.
