Roethlisberger (knee) did some individual work at Tuesday's practice, saying afterward that he hopes to rejoin his teammates at some point next week, ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roethlisberger had surgery last Monday to repair a torn meniscus, with his estimated timetable of two-to-three weeks subsequently referred to as a "best case" scenario by Steelers president Art Rooney II, who said the real expectation is anywhere in the range of two-to-six weeks. Roethlisberger threw some passes to tight ends at Tuesday's practice, but it doesn't mean much that he's able to make throws while standing still. Real information regarding his potential Week 9 availability probably won't be available until next week. The Steelers are currently on bye ahead of a matchup with the rival Ravens.
