Riddick gained 35 yards on three carries and secured one of two targets for seven yards during the Lions' third preseason game Saturday against the Ravens.

Ameer Abdullah (shoulder) received the start, but only lasted two series before getting pulled in favor of Riddick. However, Riddick was largely held in check by the Ravens' first-string defense as the majority of his yardage came on just one 34-yard scamper. Overall, though, Riddick remained heavily involved in Detroit's passing game and appears poised to resume his role as the Lions' pass-catching specialist out of the backfield in 2016.
