Minnesota offensive coordinator Norv Turner continues to plan to make Peterson a larger part of the passing game this season. "He caught [two passes] in that first game a year ago. I would expect him to be a part in the passing game," Turner told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The Vikings had planned to have Peterson catch more passes last season, but we never really got to see if Turner's talk became a reality since Peterson played just one game due to a suspension. Peterson has had as many as 43 receptions in a season and running back in Turner's system have repeatedly had higher totals, so Peterson could get a boost in points per reception formats.
