Kendricks is re-signing with the Rams on a four-year contract worth approximately $18.5 million, ESPN's Nick Wagnoner reports. Kendricks caught between 27 and 42 passes in each of the four seasons of his rookie contract, after being selected by the Rams in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. While he doesn't offer much in terms of upside, Kendricks is capable as both a receiver and blocker, which allowed him to play around 60 percent of the offensive snaps the last two years. If St. Louis ever decides to move on from the disappointing Jared Cook, Kendricks could assume a larger role in the offense. Cook is expected back for 2015, having renegotiated his contract during the 2014 season.
