Jets placed WR Santonio Holmes (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Holmes' Lisfranc fracture will require surgery. Matt Schaub and Darren McFadden proved players can come back from this injury within six months, but the main reason Holmes will be a Jet in 2013 is the $7.5 million guaranteed in his contract. During his three years in New York, Holmes has managed just 3.8 catches for 52.2 yards per game and has poisoned the locker room. He won't have a positive fantasy outlook next season barring an overhaul at the quarterback position.
