Ingram enters OTAs at 246 pounds, after losing 20 pounds during the offseason, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. While Ingram never appeared to be out of shape, he's played just 13 games over the last two seasons, and he believes losing weight could help him stay healthy. He's now somewhat on the small side for a 3-4 outside linebacker, but that won't necessarily be an issue when it comes to rushing the passer. The 26-year-old former first-round draft pick had four sacks in nine games last season, finally showing some of the potential that warranted such a high selection. While it's always wise to be wary of the "best shape of his life" stories, Ingram has the right combination of talent, role and health to break out in his fourth season.
