Impending free agent Wes Welker caught eight passes for 112 yards and a touchdown in New England's 28-13 AFC Championship Game loss to the Ravens.
If today was Welker's last game in a Patriots uniform, it was a fitting capper to a Pats career that's seen him rack up 672 regular season catches in 93 games. However, he did commit two drops, one of which was eerily similar to his infamous muff in Super Bowl XLVI. Coming off his fifth 110-catch campaign in six seasons, it's hard to say a divorce would benefit either Welker or the Patriots, but the signs on his New England future have been mixed at best. The NFL's pre-eminent slot machine will turn 32 in May. Welker will be a fantasy asset wherever he ends up in 2013, but Dynasty league owners should obviously be hoping he re-ups with Tom Brady and company.
