Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle received deferred adjudication Thursday for an arrest on shoplifting charges last October, according to the Dallas Morning News. Randle will now be on probation for 180 days and will have his charges dismissed if he can stay out of trouble during that time. "He’s just relieved and ready to move on and focus on training camp," Randle's attorney Steven Bell said. "He regrets the situation. He’s a good young man." Minor theft is a relatively uncommon offense for a professional athlete so there is little precedent for the NFL to follow in regard to this case, but it appears that they do not plan to pursue a suspension at this time. Randle is currently atop the running back depth chart for the team and could solidify his position as the starter with a strong training camp.

I think he should be suspended for 4 games and fined $250,000
