Coach Norv Turner said defenses are yet to adjust to Danario Alexander.
Over the last five weeks, Alexander has 30 catches for 494 yards and five touchdowns. "He's still seeing a lot of single coverage, a lot of matchups where he's not getting the best (defensive back)," Turner said. "He's getting the third DB, and he's taking advantage of it, and I think we're taking advantage of it." Alexander might start seeing some more coverage roll his way, but it's not a huge concern. The 6'5/217 monster has more than enough talent to overcome it.
Haden's only interceptions this year have come from Vick,Dalton and Charlie Batch. Not exactly the best decision makers. Haden didn't even have an interception last year in 15 starts. Im sick of everybody bragging this dude up. He's average. Just like his team.
Theres alot of talent in the league but to call someone a shut down corner imo is comparing him to the best and Haden isn't there, be real... he's no Ty Law, he's no Champ Bailey, he's no Mel Blount, he's no Ronnie Lott, he's no Deion Sanders, he's no Darrelle Revis, he's no Rod Woodson, he's no Dick Lane.... Plain and simple
No one ever said he was a Hall of Famer there bud. You only list two active players on your little list. I'll give you Champ, but he's better than Revis, at least Haden can stay healthy. Even when Revis was healthy, he was overrated. Thanks for the moot points though.
Here's an opinion for you: Jaspertheghost doesn't know a shutdown CB when he sees one. He can, however, Google the hell out something when he wants to sound right like he knows what he's talking about, Begs is right about that.
Never thought I'd say it, but I'd go Dez with Alexander. Wallace is probably more talented than Dez, but I'm not sure Big Ben is 100% yet. Dez has been stepping up lately, and even though he's a head case, Romo will throw a lot, and Dez is his favorite target.
Dez is hurt too though, a broken finger on his hand that was bad enough they were considering shutting him down for the season. I'd take Roethlisberger playing through an injury (which he's almost always doing by this point in the season) over an already flukey Dez with a broken finger.
dude, there is zero chance that wallace is more talented than dez...they are both head cases but when it comes to talent i think there is a decent margin

Picks dont make or break a corner he swats the ball away and immediately make the tackle
JaspertheghostThu 12/13/12 7:02 PM
All would be great if that was the case... I watch him every week and he gets beat often, he's allowed TDs to Macklin,T. Smith, Bryant, Green...
ThatManThu 12/13/12 8:22 PM
He's a shut down corner plain and simple. You obviously don't watch him every week if you think he and his team are average, be real.

Didn't know about the Dez injury. That certainly changes the equation.
Phinfan85Wed 12/12/12 8:51 PM
Wait, what? Wallace is more talented then Dez? Really?? I don't think their even close if Dez is fully healthy!

I concur completely! Wallace is just fast, that's it! He's dropped quite a few the past 2 seasons, also.

i picked up eman sanders in my dynasty league expecting wallace to be audi 5000

I like that except Alexander over Dez Alex is the playmaker Dez is too inconsistent
