Chiefs re-signed TE Richard Gordon to a one-year, $645,000 contract. Gordon had been scheduled for restricted free agency, but the Chiefs were never going to tender him because doing so would've cost at least $1.389 million. So he'll return to compete for a roster spot at the NFL's minimum salary. A sort of tweener tight end/fullback, Gordon turns 27 in June. The former Raiders sixth-round pick has four receptions across 29 career games.
