Bradford (knee) will be traded to the Eagles in exchange for fellow quarterback Nick Foles, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
With Foles headed the other way to St. Louis, Bradford becomes the clear favorite to start for the Eagles in Week 1. It now seems much less likely that the team will trade up to draft Marcus Mariota, though it still shouldn't be ruled out, as Bradford has just one year remaining on his contract. If Bradford does indeed start for the Eagles, he'll be in charge of a fast-paced offense with an excellent offensive line and questionable skill-position weapons. Of course, with much of the offseason still to come, Philadelphia still has time to replace LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin. This could provide a huge boost to Bradford's fantasy value, given that Mark Sanchez provided serviceable numbers as the Eagles' starting quarterback late last season. Sanchez was recently re-signed to a two-year contract, but he's highly unlikely to start over a healthy Bradford. Also worth keeping in mind is that Bradford is coming back from the second torn ACL of his career.
They also swapped First round picks. The rumor on the Philadelphia sports radio is that Bradford will be packaged with that. # 10 pick to the keys for their# 6 pick in the hopes of getting Mariota.
That was how it was originially reported but not the actual trade eagles gave up a 2nd and 4th but the 2nd is based on him starting a certain amount of games for the eagles so i guess if they trade him theyd just have to give the 4th in 2015 which they have 2 of and get back the 5th.. Plus throw in all the other picks it would take to move up to get mariota.. Lots of people thinking they did this cause teams like bradford more that draft near the top ... To evaluate the trade that happened today i think rams got better end .. Even if not they save close to 12 mil
Rams won, hands down. the eagles have their work cut out for them if they plan on moving him before the draft. even if the eagles move him, the rams still won.
Was this trade just Bradford for Foles straight up? If so, it seems like the Eagles got ripped off. Even if Bradford were significantly better (which I'm fairly certain he isn't) then it would still be a bad trade for the Eagles since Bradford tears his ACL every year.

I don't think it will, it's just such an objectively bad trade for the Eagles that I don't understand.

I agree Shawn. I think Foles is better than Bradford. Eagles now have 2 of the worst 3 QBR since 2010.

Bradford might be the favorite but it isn't clear given Kelly's man crush on Sanchize and who knows if he tries to trade.
