Bengals OC Jay Gruden reportedly went into the bye "grumbling" about not getting A.J. Green enough chances in Week 7.
Green saw just six targets against Ike Taylor and the Steelers before going into the bye. Expect many more chances in Week 9 even though Green will be matched up with Champ Bailey. In Green's first six games, he averaged 11.1 targets per day.
Agreed. Hawkins hasn't cut into his touches or targets as much as in other cases of wr1/wr2 weekly madness. Steve Smith, Fitz, Welker, V Jax, and Megatron have had big dud weeks at the same time Lafell, Hawkins, Young, Roberts, M. Williams, and B. Lloyd have productive ones.
