Arian Foster said his back surgery "wasn't as major as it sounded."
Foster underwent a microscopic lumbar discectomy on November 13 to repair a herniated disc. He's already been medically cleared, a sign the surgery wasn't overly invasive. "That's why I rebounded so quickly," Foster said. "I also worked my ass off. I'm expecting to do bigger things and bounce back." Perhaps sitting out most of last season will actually do him some good. He remains on the RB1 radar as a clear-cut three-down back ahead of Andre Brown.
