Harris (heat exhaustion) is listed as active Sunday in Dallas, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris came down with heat exhaustion at Thursday's practice, but the Giants opted to keep him off the injury report. With the issue behind him, his primary function on game days will be as the team's No. 1 kick and punt returner.

Harris will be fine to play Sunday against the Cowboys despite having to leave Thursday's practice early due to heat exhaustion, Newsday reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris' exit from practice Thursday wasn't expected to impact his status for Week 1, so his latest update confirms that notion. The Giants' top kick returner will be good to go to face his former team, which should boost New York's special teams units.

Harris was diagnosed with heat exhaustion after Thursday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. However, he didn't show up on the Giants' injury report.

EDGE Analysis

Even though his malady is seemingly a short-term concern, Harris' lack of presence on the injury report is curious, to say the least. Although he's unlikely to sit Sunday at Dallas, the Giants' primary kick and punt returner should be monitored in advance of the game.

Harris (knee) finished the preseason with just one catch and 11 yards.

EDGE Analysis

The lack of preseason production from Harris can be partially chalked up to a knee injury he suffered in the team's second tilt, which required him to have x-rays taken. It wound up being nothing serious and he was able to play in the following games, though he was unable to produce in either game. He was competing for a depth position at receiver with Tavarres King and Geremy Davis, and it remains to be seen who'll make the 53-man roster.

Harris (knee) left Saturday's preseason game early, the team's official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harris left the matchup with the Bills to get some x-rays of his knee. The 28-year-old hauled in career-highs of 36 receptions, 396 yards and four touchdowns in his first season with the Giants. Although it remains to be seen exactly how long Harris will be out, a serious knee injury would be a big blow to his plans of obtaining an expanded role with the offense in 2016.

Harris finished the year with 36 catches for 396 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 631 kick and 341 punt return yards and scored on one of each.

EDGE Analysis

Harris was a valuable contributor to the Giants both as a part-time receiver and return man and should reprise those roles next year. In leagues that don't count return yards, he won't have much value, however.

Harris (back/shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

EDGE Analysis

Harris had been listed on the Giants' injury report the previous two weeks with a shoulder ailment only to end up playing, but with his team eliminated from postseason contention, the veteran wideout will get the afternoon off. His absence could lead to more increased opportunities for Hakeem Nicks in three-wide receiver sets.

Harris (back/shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

EDGE Analysis

Harris practiced in a limited fashion all week, which suggests that he has a decent chance to suit up this weekend, but given his modest production of late, he's Week 17 fantasy dart, in any case.

Harris (back/shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Harris has combined for a mere three catches (on five targets) for 15 yards over the last two contests, which have coincided with his current back and shoulder ailments. The return of Odell Beckham from a one-game suspension further hinders Harris' potential, but Friday's injury report should indicate whether he's expected to play in Week 17 versus the Eagles.

Harris (shoulder) caught one pass for six yards on two targets in Sunday's 49-17 loss to the Vikings.

EDGE Analysis

Harris' role didn't change because of Odell Beckham's one-game suspension, as the Giants rotated Hakeem Nicks, Myles White and Ben Edwards with Rueben Randle on the outside. Harris simply played his usual slot role, falling shy of 50 yards for a fifth straight game. Beckham will return from his suspension for a favorable Week 17 matchup with the Eagles.
