Giants RB David Wilson (neck) tweeted he passed all his physical examinations and was "fine."

Wilson left practice Tuesday after suffering a neck "burner." He will sit out the rest of the week before being reevaluated on August 4. Despite the clean bill of health, it is clear Wilson's neck will be a concern for the rest of his career. He is not worth a redraft pick.

Wilson left Tuesday's practice early with a neck burner. He underwent initial tests yesterday, and it's been determined that he won't play in Sunday's preseason opener versus the Bills. Wilson will be looked at on Mondya by Dr. Frank Cammisa, the doctor who performed Wilson's neck surgery. The Giants are going to be extremely careful here. We don't advise using a re-draft pick on Wilson.

David Wilson will undergo tests after suffering a neck "burner" in Tuesday's practice.

NFL Network's Kimberly Jones reports the Giants "will be careful" with Wilson, which is probably the understatement of the century. It's extremely bad news for Wilson to have any issues with his surgically-repaired neck so shortly after being cleared. If drafting early, make Wilson a late-round flier at your own risk.

David Wilson left Tuesday's training camp practice early with a neck burner.

A "burner" or "stinger" is an injury to the nerves in the neck or shoulder that produce a stinging sensation. Obviously, with Wilson, this is a major concern and not something to take lightly. Following practice, coach Tom Coughlin said "we were all praying" Wilson wouldn't suffer any setbacks. This qualifies as one. Recovery time can range, but WIlson won't be cleared to return until he's experiencing zero neck or shoulder pain. We'll update Wilson when the Giants do.
