Stewart agreed to a two-year contract with the Broncos on Friday.

Stewart finished the 2014 campaign with the Ravens accumulating 53 tackles (37 solo), adding an interception and a forced fumble along with three passes defensed. He should slot in nicely alongside T.J. Ward, giving the Broncos a formidable secondary in 2015.

Despite playing all of the defensive snaps in Sunday's 43-23 loss to the Steelers, Stewart finished with just two tackles (one solo).

After rotating safeties the past three games, Baltimore mostly stuck with Stewart and Will Hill, though Matt Elam got quite a few snaps in the nickel. Stewart is the closest thing the Ravens have had to a respectable safety this season, but he almost never sticks out for positive plays, and didn't play well in Sunday's game. He may lose some of his snaps to Elam or Terrence Brooks in Week 10, though that can't be assumed. In its current state, the Baltimore secondary is probably best avoided outside of deep IDP leagues, with a possible exception for struggling cornerback Lardarius Webb, who has been picked on since rejoining the team.

Stewart had five tackles (four solo) and one pass defensed in Sunday's 29-7 win over the Falcons.

Stewart and rookie Terrence Brooks each played approximately two-thirds of the snaps, while Matt Elam and Will Hill each logged about one-third. If it continues, the four-safety rotation will likely prevent any of the bunch from being a useful IDP option. With no clear winner having emerged at this point, it's probably best to avoid Stewart and any of his fellow Baltimore safeties.

Stewart had nine tackles (four solo) in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.

Stewart played every defensive snap in his first game with the Ravens. He didn't make any standout plays, but seemingly did well enough to keep his job. Rookie safety Terrence Brooks did not see the field on defense, and the Ravens used just five defensive backs all game.

Stewart is listed as the starting free safety on the Ravens' first depth chart of the regular season.

Rookie third-round draft pick Terrence Brooks will likely have some kind of role in the defense, but Stewart seemingly won the position battle with relative ease, and thus figures to start Sunday's season opener against the Bengals. With Brooks coming off a strong preseason, and Will Hill likely to enter the mix after serving a six-game suspension, Stewart is one of the lesser IDP options among starting safeties in the league. Matt Elam is still the top IDP target in the Baltimore secondary.

The Baltimore Sun confirms Darian Stewart will open training camp as the Ravens' starting free safety.

Stewart played with the first-team defense throughout OTAs and minicamp. He's competing with rookie Terrance Brooks and Jeromy Miles to start opposite Matt Elam. Stewart has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but is the heavy favorite to win the job as long as he stays healthy.

Ravens S Darian Stewart is the front-runner to start at free safety after running with the first-team defense during OTAs.

Stewart has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but he is healthy now and doing "a nice job" according to coach John Harbaugh. The job looks like Stewart's to lose as long as he stays healthy. Third-round S Terrance Brooks ran with the third-team defense during OTAs.

Darian Stewart is expected to be the Ravens starting free safety.

Stewart started 13 games for Steve Spagnuolo's Rams in 2011. Spags is now on the Ravens staff and loves Stewart. The former undrafted free agent had 84 tackles, three sacks, and a pick-six during the 2011 campaign. Stewart has battled nagging injuries his entire career and will need to stay healthy to keep the job.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he was "excited" about S Darian Stewart and "really liked him on tape"

The Ravens need to fill the hole left when Matt Elam shifted over to strong safety, and Stewart should be given the first shot. He will have to stay healthy, though. Stewart has yet to play a full season in his four-year career.

Ravens agreed to terms with S Darian Stewart, formerly of the Rams.

Stewart, 24, appeared in 13 games with St. Louis last season, making six starts and recording 36 tackles with five pass breakups. He was a favorite of old Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo, who is now Baltimore's secondary coach. Stewart has experience at both strong and free safety. The Ravens are searching for a free safety to book end Matt Elam, who they prefer to use in the box.
