Campbell notched six tackles (five solo) and 2.5 sacks in Sunday's win over the Packers.

EDGE Analysis

Campbell had 2.5 sacks coming into Sunday's game, and he doubled that total by adding another 2.5 sacks on a day where the Cardinals recorded eight sacks as a team. He now has five on the year to go along with 59 tackles, and he should be an important piece for the Cardinals' defense moving forward. Campbell is good for a big game like this every once in awhile, but his overall value as an IDP is still fairly limited.

Campbell racked up four solo tackles, including one sack, and recovered a fumble in Thursday's victory against the Vikings.

EDGE Analysis

In danger of tallying the lowest sack total since his rookie season in 2008, Campbell's takedown of Teddy Bridgewater on Thursday pushed him to only 2.5 for the veteran pass rusher. If he's unable to pick up 3.5 in the final three games of the season, his streak with at least six sacks will end at six campaigns. That aside, he's already surpassed 50 tackles (53, to be precise) for the sixth consecutive year, placing him with striking distance of the 72 that he totaled in 2011.

Campbell was a one-man wrecking crew Sunday against the Rams, racking up 11 tackles (10 solo), three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and 0.5 sacks.

EDGE Analysis

Campbell was everywhere in Week 4, but the Cardinals' defense itself was unable to force a turnover, after accumulating seven (all interceptions) over the course of the first three weeks of the season. Stuck in the 50-to-75 tackle territory in each of the past five campaigns, he currently has 25 to his credit, which is a career-best pace. On the other side of the coin, the half sack Sunday was his first in the category in 2015, so he has some work to do to uphold his standard (6-to-9 sacks in six consecutive seasons).

Campbell took in 56 of the Cardinals' 72 defensive snaps Sunday at Chicago, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports.

EDGE Analysis

Campbell has totaled six tackles in both Week 1 and 2, but he's augmented his line with one tackle for loss and one pass defended. He has yet to nab a sack, though, which will surely come to pass as he's accrued at least six in each of the past six seasons.

Campbell notched six tackles (five solo) and one tackle for loss in Sunday's victory versus the Saints.

EDGE Analysis

Campbell doesn't receive the attention of teammate Patrick Peterson, or Tyrann Mathieu for that matter, but the defensive end contributes to a stingy run defense, while providing one of the few pass-rushing threats on the Cardinals' defense. Heading a defensive front that substitutes with aplomb, Campbell still garnered 69 percent (51 of 74) of the unit's snaps in Week 1, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix, yet he finished fifth on the team in tackles behind Peterson, Mathieu, Deone Bucannon, and Kevin Minter. Campbell's first sack of the season could occur sooner rather than later this Sunday against a Bears offensive line that surrendered 41 in 2014.

Campbell underwent successful sports hernia surgery during the first week of February, the Cardinals' official site reports.Campbell played through the injury from at least Week 13 through the Cardinals' wild-card playoff loss in Carolina. Additionally, he sat out Weeks 6 and 7 due to a sprained MCL in his right knee, but the ailments didn't stop the pass rusher from racking up 58 tackles (48 solo), seven sacks, nine tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one interception in 14 games last season. Upon returning to the Cardinals' facility Tuesday, he relayed that he expects to be healthy in time for the commencement of offseason workouts in the latter half of April.

Campbell will undergo surgery next week to repair a sports hernia that he played through after Week 13, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reports.

Campbell has played 13 or more games in each of his seven NFL seasons, but he seemingly deals with an injury or two every year. In 2014, it was the sports hernia and a sprained MCL, with the latter causing him to miss Weeks 6 and 7. Campbell still had another fantastic year, piling up 58 tackles (48 solo), seven sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and three passes defensed. He should be healthy by the start of training camp next season, and while the Cardinals have a rather unfavorable cap situation, Campbell doesn't figure to be one of the casualties.

Campbell supplied 58 tackles (48 solo), seven sacks, nine tackles for loss, three passes defended, one interception, and one forced fumble across 14 contests in 2014.

After spraining the MCL in his right knee in Week 5, Campbell was resigned to a 3-to-4 week absence. However, he bucked expectations, missing just two games without the benefit of a bye week. He proceeded to tally six sacks in a five-game span from Weeks 10 through 14, but outside of that stretch, his IDP contributions were few and far between. No matter, the 28-year-old recorded at least six sacks for the sixth campaign in a row, meaning the pass rusher should regain premier status with running mate Darnell Dockett (knee) back in the picture next season.

Campbell (hip) is listed as active Sunday in San Francisco, the Cardinals' official site reports.

After putting up zeroes in the box score last Sunday against the Seahawks, Campbell should bounce back against a 49ers offensive line that has given up 51 sacks of Colin Kaepernick this season.

Campbell (hip) is probable for Sunday's game against San Francisco.

The Cardinals don't have much going for them Sunday, but Campbell's presence is a big plus. He's a DL1 whenever he's active.
