Myers finished the 2016 season with just seven receptions (14 targets) for 59 yards and a touchdown in 16 games.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end, once thought to be an emerging pass-catching threat after totaling 126 receptions for 1,328 yards and eight touchdowns over the 2012-2013 seasons, has primarily been deployed as a blocker in his three Bucs campaigns. Myers' reception and yardage totals this past season were his lowest outside of his 2009 rookie year in Oakland, although he did record his first touchdown in a Tampa uniform in the opener against the Falcons. Now an unrestricted free agent and 31 years of age, Myers could well have played his last snap with the Bucs, as Cameron Brate is the clear-cut offensive weapon at the position, Luke Stocker is younger and a better overall blocker, and promising prospect Tevin Westbrook, who's spent the last two years on the practice squad, has been signed to a futures contract and is expected to compete for a roster spot next summer. Myers could potentially latch on a roster in need of some veteran tight end help, or in a less likely scenario, return to the Bucs on a veteran minimum-type deal.

Myers will serve as the team's pass-catching tight end in Week 17 versus the Panthers now that Cameron Brate has been placed on IR.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end was originally brought to Tampa before the 2014 campaign in part for his pass-catching chops, a talent he'd demonstrated the two seasons prior by hauling in 126 receptions on 178 targets for 1,328 yards and eight touchdowns with the Raiders and Giants, respectively. However, he's been largely limited in that role during his Bucs tenure, notching just 41 catches over the last three seasons. He should have a chance to turn back the clock to an extent in the season finale, however, as Brate's absence leaves a notable amount of targets on the table that Myers could potentially capitalize on. He'll have the right matchup in this regard as well, given that the Panthers have surrendered the most fantasy points to tight ends in standard scoring formats this season.

Myers grabbed two of six targets for 21 yards in Saturday's 31-24 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end saw the most targets he had all season due to Cameron Brate exiting the game with a back injury. Myers was once one of the burgeoning receiving tight ends in the game in what seems like a lifetime ago at this point, having notched 126 receptions for 1,328 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2012-13 seasons. His fantasy profile has increasingly taken a hit in his three Bucs seasons, as he's seen his reception totals drop in each of those campaigns. However, if Brate is sidelined for the Week 17 finale versus the Panthers, Myers could make for the sneakiest of DFS punt plays against a Carolina team that's struggled against the position all season.

Myers secured his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 16-11 victory over the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end made an appearance on the stat sheet for the first time since Week 10, notching only his fifth reception of the season. Given Cameron Brate's emergence, Myers is essentially an afterthought in the Bucs passing game at this point in his career, putting in the majority of his time as a blocker.

Myers (hip) was not targeted in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Myers was able to take the field after nursing a hip injury throughout the practice week, but remained firmly entrenched as a blocking tight end, particularly after Luke Stocker (ankle) exited the contest. The veteran's four catches on the season equal the career-low amount he compiled in his rookie campaign in 2009 with the Raiders.

Myers (hip) is active for Sunday's Week 13 tilt versus the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end logged DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a full session Friday. He'll resume his usual role as a blocking tight end alongside Luke Stocker against San Diego.

Myers (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
EDGE Analysis
Myers' hip problem caused him to be limited prior to Friday, but after he put in a full practice session to close the week, the veteran appears to be trending in the right direction to suit up Sunday.

Myers (hip) missed practice for a second consecutive day Thursday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end's involvement on offense is virtually non-existent, so a potential absence by Myers on Sunday wouldn't affect the game plan against the Chargers. However, it would give a slight boost to the playing time of rookie Alan Cross, who's managed a pair of catches for 13 yards and a touchdown over the last two contests.

Myers gathered in his sole target for six yards in Sunday's 36-10 win over the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end made an appearance on the stat sheet for the first time since Week 5, recording only his fourth catch of the season overall. Myers is a far cry from the proficient pass-catching tight end he proved to be back in his breakout 79-catch season withe Raiders in 2012, and primarily serves as a blocker with limited involvement in the air attack. Meanwhile, Cameron Brate has continued to thrive as a younger and more athletic version of Myers, and has a firm grip on the top tight end spot.

Myers (hip) secured his only target for 12 yards in Monday's 17-14 win over the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran tight end shrugged off his hip injury to log 48 snaps. Myers' 12-yard reception was his longest of the season and only his third grab of the campaign overall. With only five total targets through the first five contests, Myers is not a viable fantasy option.
