Flowers picked up seven tackles (five solo) and knocked down one pass in the win over the Jaguars Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Once again, Flowers was near the top of the tackle totals, as once again the Chargers jumped out to an early lead, forcing their opponent to move the ball quickly through the air. Flowers has racked up an impressive amount of tackles (13 solo) through two weeks, but that number figures to level out as the Chargers find themselves in closer contests.

Flowers recorded eight solo tackles in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.

EDGE Analysis

Flowers was kept busy on the outside as the Chiefs were forced to rally back from a large deficit through the air. While he didn't record a pass breakup or an interception, IDP owners have to be happy with his large tackle numbers. That figures to go down however, as the Chargers likely won't always be playing with a substantial lead.

Flowers (knee) is healthy after ending the season on IR, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

Flowers failed to record a single interception last season, the first time he hasn't recorded at least one takeaway in his six-year career. Couple that with the fact that he registered just 33 tackles (29 solo), and it's fair to say Flowers is coming off his worst season as a pro. However, following an offseason in which the 30-year-old corner reportedly trimmed 10-12 pounds off his frame and appears completely healthy following a nagging knee injury that caused him to miss the final four games of the regular season, Flowers looks to be on the upswing heading into the new year. Even with Casey Hayward joining the secondary via free agency, Flowers is still expected to start opposite Jason Verrett and could be a good candidate to rebound should he stay healthy.

Flowers was placed on injured reserve Saturday, ESPN's Eric Williams reports.

EDGE Analysis

The injuries just keep coming for the Chargers. Flowers, a key cog in the team's defense, will join Corey Liueget on the sidelines after the team opted to place both players on IR. Steve Williams or Greg Ducre will likely get the start in place of Flowers.

Flowers (knee) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Bears.

EDGE Analysis

In his role as a starting cornerback for the Chargers, Flowers is a key cog in the team's defense, though with 24 tackles and a pick in seven games to date, his IDP utility is limited to deeper formats.

Flowers (concussion) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers.

EDGE Analysis

Good news for the Charger's secondary, but with 10 tackles in three games out of the gate, Flowers' IDP impact this season has been modest.

Flowers (concussion) has been downgraded to questionable for Monday's game.

EDGE Analysis

Flowers has been able to practice most of this week, so the new status seems to indicate he may have suffered a setback of sorts on Saturday. He will likely be a game-time decision Monday against the Steelers.

Flowers (concussion) was a full participant at practice on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

It certainly seems like Flowers will be available for Monday's game against the Steelers considering the veteran cornerback was a full participant at practice in back-to-back games. His status will likely be decided in the coming days, but for now all signs appear to be pointing towards Flowers starting his fourth game of the year.

Flowers (concussion) practiced on Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

His practice status seems to suggest the concussion wasn't very serious, however more information should trickle out as the week progresses. The Chargers will need all of their secondary up to speed with a Monday night matchup against the Steelers next on the schedule.
