Powell rushed eight times for a team-high 36 yards and caught one of three targets for seven receiving yards during Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

EDGE Analysis

Despite leading the team in rushing yards, Powell still finished with five fewer carries and two fewer receptions than starter Matt Forte, who continues to have a fairly good hold on the starting job. While Powell can make a few plays here and there, his fantasy upside is limited given Forte's presence.

Powell rushed four times for 37 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 52 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Powell's score came on a trick play, as quarterback Bryce Petty completed a short pass to Brandon Marshall, who then lateraled the ball to Powell before he cruised into the end zone for a four-yard touchdown. Despite the solid production, Powell remains firmly behind Matt Forte on the depth chart, as the latter rushed 20 times for 98 yards, the third time in the last four games with at least 20 carries. Up next is the Jets' bye before they take on the Patriots in Week 12.

Powell rushed six times for 22 yards and caught all four of his targets for 29 receiving yards during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.

EDGE Analysis

Matt Forte finished with twice as many carries, which he turned into 92 yards and a touchdown, as the Jets continue to rely on the former Bear to lead their backfield, leaving few opportunities for Powell to make a fantasy impact. As long as Forte is healthy, Powell's role will be fairly limited in Week 10 against the Rams.

Powell rushed six times for 76 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's win over the Browns. He also caught one of three targets for three receiving yards.

EDGE Analysis

Powell's score came on a 35-yard play on a third-and-10 check down, and while he showed great movement and avoided a number of tackles, it wasn't nearly enough to garner more touches from starter Matt Forte, who rushed 25 times for 82 yards and two TDs. While Powell has the ability to break plays, he isn't likely to get enough touches to make a major fantasy impact as long as Forte is healthy.

Powell (turf toe) does not carry a Week 8 injury designation after practicing fully Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Powell built up to a full participant Friday after sitting out to start this week of practice. Although he'll be available for Sunday's favorable matchup against the Browns, Matt Forte figures to lead the Jets' backfield attack, and Powell's mere nine snaps last weekend makes his involvement worth monitoring this time around.

Powell (turf toe)returned to a limited practice Thursday.

EDGE Analysis

We'll have to see how the Jets list Powell on Friday's injury report, but his return to practice Thursday bodes well for his chances of working behind fellow RB Matt Forte in Sunday's game against the Browns.

Powell (turf toe) did not practice Wednesday, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

EDGE Analysis

Powell was limited to nine snaps on offense (out of a possible 68) in Week 7's win over the Ravens and it's quite possible that his toe injury contributed to that sparing usage. We'll track Powell's status in the coming days, but his fantasy upside against the Browns on Sunday is hindered by the presence of Matt Forte, who ran 30 times for 100 yards and a TD and caught four passes for 54 yards and a TD last weekend, while Powell was limited to four carries for 18 yards.

Powell rushed four times for 18 yards during Sunday's win over the Ravens.

EDGE Analysis

Matt Forte dominated the touches out of the backfield, rushing 30 times for 100 yards and a touchdown while also catching all four of his targets for 54 yards and another score. Powell hasn't gotten many carries this season, but he held some value in deeper PPR formats because of his ability to catch passes; however, if the Jets continue to use Forte on passing downs, Powell's fantasy upside takes a significant hit.

Powell rushed three times for 10 yards and caught three of four targets for 12 receiving yards during Monday's loss to the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

Matt Forte continues to dominate the carries out of the backfield (he rushed nine times for 19 yards), and Powell finished with only one more target. That being said, neither back was effective Monday night. Powell's fantasy upside isn't that high to begin with, but if Forte gets more action on passing downs, it'll only hurt Powell's value.

Powell rushed four times for 10 yards and caught six of eight targets for 41 receiving yards during Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

EDGE Analysis

Matt Forte continues to dominate the carries, as he rushed 12 times for 53 yards, but Powell's role on passing downs gives him value in some PPR leagues given Forte's inability to make an impact there (he had two catches for seven yards Sunday). The split in roles is a bit surprising given Forte's long history of being an excellent pass-catcher out of the backfield, and while Powell has carved out a regular role, his fantasy upside is limited given his lack of carries.
