Robinson caught two passes for 36 yards in Sunday's win over the Saints.

EDGE Analysis

Robinson's production slipped in the past two weeks after going off for 111 yards in Week 15, but he may be called upon to play a bigger role in the playoffs should the Falcons go up against a formidable Seattle pass defense in the divisional round. If whoever the Falcons play make it a point to double team Julio Jones, secondary receivers are going to need to step up.

Robinson caught four of five targets for a season-high 111 yards in Sunday's 41-13 win over the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

With Julio Jones (toe) inactive, Robinson took advantage, leading the Falcons in catches and receiving yardage. Robinson's biggest play of the game came in the first half on a 59-yard bomb from Matt Ryan. Mohamed Sanu (groin) did return to the lineup, but was held to just three receptions for 44 yards. Jones could return next week, so his status would have an impact on Robinson's value and playing time.

Robinson caught three balls on six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's victory over the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Robinson and Taylor Gabriel both led the team in targets while Julio Jones (toe) and Mohamed Sanu (groin) were sidelined with injuries, but it was Gabriel who found the endzone. Robinson's value will be tied to the health of Jones and Sanu, so keep an eye on their injury situations as Week 15 approaches.

Robinson caught two balls for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.

EDGE Analysis

The touchdown helped save Robinson's stat line from mediocrity, as only three of the 32 passes thrown by Matt Ryan were in his direction. He'd get a boost in value if Julio Jones is sidelined with a turf toe condition, but for now he remains a tertiary option at best in the passing attack.

Robinson was held without a catch in Sunday's win over the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Not only was he held without a catch, Robinson wasn't targeted at all throughout the day. He's in a great offense, but his value is extremely limited if the ball never comes his way.

Robinson caught two balls for 48 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Panthers.

EDGE Analysis

On a day dominated by Julio Jones, Robinson finished with a nice stat line considering he only saw three targets. The bulk of the balls will continue to go to Jones, but if teams start to really focus on stopping him, it may open up more targets for Robinson and Mohamed Sanu.

Robinson caught three balls for 39 yards in Sunday's victory over the Raiders.

EDGE Analysis

The Falcons are clearly committed to passing the ball, as Matt Ryan has thrown for 730 yards through two games, so Robinson certainly has some upside, especially if Julio Jones' calf injury were to linger.

Robinson secured three of six targets for 70 yards in Thursday's 17-6 preseason loss to the Dolphins.

EDGE Analysis

Despite the unfavorable result for the team, Robinson thrived through the air once again and enjoyed additional opportunity once Julio Jones went down with a first-quarter ankle injury. Robinson has outperformed presumed the pair receivers immediately above him on the depth chart, Mohamed Sanu and Justin Hardy, over the last two weeks, amassing 188 yards on six receptions. The SMU product has certainly shown plenty of downfield chops over his three-year career, having averaged over 20 yards per reception over the 2012-13 seasons in Washington. Robinson was out of the NFL last season after a summer 2015 release by the Ravens, but looks highly likely to secure a roster spot on a Falcons receiving corps that is not overly deep beyond All-Pro Julio Jones.

Robinson impressed in last Thursday's preseason debut, hauling in three receptions for 118 yards, Michael Cunningham of the Atlantic Journal Constitution reports.

EDGE Analysis

Robinson gained many fans after his performance on Thursday night, including Falcons' Pro Bowl wideout Julio Jones. "He had a great game for us. But there is more to come from Al," Jones mentioned earlier this week. Robinson is currently battling for the No. 4 spot on the Falcons' depth chart, behind Justin Hardy, Mohamed Sanu, and of course Jones.

Robinson has signed a contract with the Falcons, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

EDGE Analysis

Robinson participated in some of the offseason program after being signed by the Ravens in early 2015, but was released during the trimming of the 53-man roster before the regular season began. The speedy receiver hasn't seen legitimate action since the 2013 regular season, where he caught 18 passes on 46 targets for 365 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games for an average of 20.3 yards per reception. Part of Robinson's problem as an NFL receiver is that he has been seen solely as a deep threat, and in that regard he is not entering a good situation in Atlanta. Matt Ryan doesn't have a particularly strong deep-ball arm, and one third of his throws in 2015 were targeted towards superstar Julio Jones, leaving a negligible share of work for the rest of the Falcons' receiving corps. Robinson will really need to fight if he wants to receive a spot on the 53-man roster, and even if he does he will most likely stick to special teams, leaving him with marginal upside for fantasy production in 2016.
