While head coach Bruce Arians is not expected to make a decision until close to kickoff, Palmer (shoulder) appears to be the most likely choice to start Sunday against Washington, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Arians noted that Palmer was around 80 percent healthy Friday, which apparently wasn't enough to name him the starter. However, the expected improvement over the last two days could be what gets Palmer back on the field ahead of Drew Stanton, who recently recovered from a concussion, and rookie Logan Thomas, who struggled greatly in relief of Stanton last Sunday against the Broncos. At the very least, Stanton is expected to be active, so the question will come down to whether Palmer can bypass him in warmups ahead of the 4:25 ET kickoff.
