Lacy had 11 carries for 36 rushing yards and one catch on one target for nine receiving yards Sunday against the Lions.
Lacy has really struggled this season, failing to reach 45 rushing yards in any of his three games, though it should be noted that he has faced three of the best run defenses in the NFL all in a row. That will change in Week 4 when the Packers face a Bears defense ranked 29th against the run so far this season.
I honestly feel that they need to get him involved more in the PASSING game. We know with Rodgers they are going to fling it around, so those 25 carry games may not be there as often. This however should not mean less utilization of a stud running back. Give him 18 carries, and 7-8 targets a game.. The offense will look smoother, and Lacy will be able to wear down the defense a little more than he has so far. Lacy is a throw back running back, which will help the team out in the fourth after the defense has been worn down from him a little more
I say Matt A. and that's coming from a Lacy owner. Im starting K. Robinson over Lacy so I hope it doesn't come back to burn me. You're safer with Asiata than I am with Robinson.
I think that Lacy will be all good. Opening the season against three tough run defenses is no good but he has a good stretch coming up. Either that or I just blew my first round pick on this years C.J. Spiller. Oh wait, I picked him last year.

hell i would be happy if he put up atleast 60yrds and a few catchers...this team is looking pretty 1 sided on offence this year and if he cant run on the bears im trading him for a bag of chips
the bears couldnt stop a old lady from geting thru that line...this sunday will make or break lacey in fantasy for me and if he dosent do well ima stash him on hopes that rodgers goes down again but he could find his way on the waver wire lol
It's not Lacy that's stopping Lacy, it's the coaches. He's not getting enough carries as he's sharing with Starks and sometimes their 3rd stringer. Lacy is the type of back that needs carries to wear down the defense and do his damage in the second half.
I think so too. Last year he did most of his damage in the fourth quarter and had one of the highest YPC in the fourth QT last year. If they are only going to give this cat 13 carries a game they aren't using him right.

You guys are crazy. This is his first game against a team that isn't the top 5 in rushing defense. If anything, this is the game you start him in.
