Vick has played in five snaps through two games, netting zero yards on those plays, Rich Cimimi of ESPN New York reports.
With Geno Smith off to a good start, you wouldn't blame the Jets if they kept Vick in the understudy role and let the side-package fall away. But you know the Jets - they love their tinkering. For what it's worth, Vick narrowly missed a touchdown pass in Week 1, misfiring to an open Eric Decker in the end zone.
I have said many times that Rex Ryan is a tie-sucking idiot who no business coaching in the NFL, and not because I am a Patriots fan. He stubbornly stuck eith Mark Sanchez, all the while it was evident he would never bring home a champioship. He brought in Tim Tebow and never gave him a chance. Now he brings in Vick, keeps right on losing, and seems like he won't give him a chance. The guy not only doesn't know how to win, he doesn't even WANT to win! The only ones stupider are Jets management for continuing to keep this clown in a HC position. Doesn't get dumber.
