Amendola did not catch a pass in Sunday's 30-7 win over the Vikings.
At this stage, it looks like it might take a Julian Edelman injury for Amendola to see a major uptick in targets, though his quiet Week 2 effort is partially explained by the fact that the Patriots were not forced to rely heavily on the passing game on Sunday.
Can somebody please tell me WTF is up with this guy? Anyone know him personally? Mom? Ex lover?? I mean everyone knows he's as brittle as my grandmama- yet WHEN "healthy" (and I do realize that is an oxymoron), this dude can actually BALL! He is NOT ON THE INJURY REPORT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! Why isn't he on the field? They're paying him a pretty penny.. at LEAST throw him out there until he pulls his vag I na! What is the dealio?

I agree with you 100% that this guy can play. As a Pats fan, i am quite frustrated and surprised at the same time that they don't use him more.
I was a fan of his when he was in St Louis, and thrilled when New England signed him, but it's been nothing but a huge disappointment.
Bottom line is Brady doesn't throw to him. Idk why but he just doesn't. I thought this year would be different but so far it's not.
They are doing the same thing with Brandon LaFell. Great WR in Carolina, but hasn't had a pass thrown his way once yet.
If New England had any sense at all they would stick with Gronk, Edelman, LaFell, and Amendola. And give up on Dobson and Thompkins. Makes ya wonder wtf are they thinking? Trust me, everyone in NE is much more frustrated with it than you think. Maybe Billichick is just getting too old.
Ha ha. Good call Russell. I finally had to cut bait on Amendola. Brady's way down stat-wise so far this year and he only has eyes for Edelman and Gronk.
