Palmer (shoulder) will reportedly not play Sunday versus the Giants at New York, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. A 50-50 proposition to take the field due to "nerve issues" in his right shoulder, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix, Palmer is expected to uphold his standard of no throwing this week by donning a headset and clipboard. If Palmer is indeed inactive, which will be confirmed in advance of Sunday's 1:00 PM ET kickoff, Drew Stanton will helm the Cardinals' offense in Week 2.

the starting QB is out, the starting RB is hobbled, a gift to the hapless giants. if the giants pull off the win, i wont look to deep into it. if the cards win, it would say a lot for their team.

^ I'm a giants fan and I picked the cardinals over them lol. That offense is so bad. I'm feeling a 7-10 score for today's game

i had a giants fan in another thread insisting there is nothing wrong with the giants and just kept babbling off the history of the giants over and over. its a great history but it does not reflect todays team. nice to see a giants fan living in the present. today's game should suck for both teams but at this point, i expect it to give the giants fans some hope. good luck.

Sheesh...I picked up the Cardinals defense bc I didn't want to play Carolina this week. Guess I still have to rolp w them unless someone had a compelling argument to start Carolina over them.

well, i think Carolina has a more sound defense but i am uncertain if the Hardy thing will make a difference. with that being said, the Giants offense is just offensive to watch so go with the Cards D in a low scoring affair.
