Smith (chest) will not play in Saturday's preseason game versus the Redskins, the Baltimore Post reports. Smith bruised his chest during last weekend's exhibition outing and will sit out Saturday's game, as the Ravens look to preserve their starting cornerback for the regular season. With Lardarius Webb (back) and Asa Jackson (ankle) also banged-up, Baltimore has no reason to risk further damage by playing Smith in a relatively meaningless game.
