Lions coach Jim Caldwell hinted he plans to keep three quarterbacks this season. "It's tough this day and age, with the way our game is, without a third quarterback," Caldwell admitted. "I've had a couple places where we carried two. We'll see what happens." Kellen Moore has spent the last two years as Detroit's No. 3 quarterback, but needs to have a strong camp to secure his roster spot and will be pushed by rookie James Franklin. Dan Orlovsky is slated to open the season as Matthew Stafford's backup.
