Matt Cassel took all the first-team reps in Thursday's OTAs session. Teddy Bridgewater was absent because he's attending an NFLPA event, but it's an indication the Vikings will indeed head into Week 1 with Cassel as their starter. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported last week that the Vikes are "determined" not to rush Bridgewater. As for Christian Ponder, USA Today's Tom Pelissero reported that he "looked like Christian Ponder" in Thursday's practice. Some things never change.
