Lions WR Ryan Broyles (Achilles') recently began "running, cutting, jumping," and rebuilding his left calf muscle. Broyles tore his left ACL at Oklahoma, his right ACL as a rookie in 2012, and his left Achilles' tendon in October of last year. He began jogging two weeks ago and seems upbeat despite the latest hard-luck setback. "Every day I'm getting stronger," Broyles said. "I'm four months out and can't wait to see where I'll be 10 months out. Right now I'm happy with my progress." Lions.com believes there's a "real chance" Broyles will open 2014 on the PUP list.
