The Boston Globe insists Danny Amendola's roster spot could be in danger. Amendola inked a five-year, $28.5 million deal with the Patriots last March. It included $10 million guaranteed. $2 million of Amendola's $3 million base salary for 2014 becomes guaranteed if he's on the Patriots' roster come 4 PM ET on March 11. Beat writer Ben Volin thinks New England could designate Amendola as a post-June 1 cut and use the money saved to re-sign Julian Edelman.

Pats R Done.

Don't be expecting to see them in the title game again any time soon.

i wont say that until Bill & Brady takes a seat. the AFC is pretty watered down. they do need more weapons on offence and they draft well. besides, they have become this generations Buffalo Bills. how fun is that!

Buffalo bills didn't win a super bowl. Brady has 3... not quite the same comparison.. The Pat's division is super weak.. I think they still do what they've been doing.. play well, but not quite enough to make it to the big show.

i know the win loss records and that the comparison is not apples to apples but since their last SB win, they have lost plenty of championship and SB games and that's where i draw the comparison. good enough to contend but not good enough to win (fun for the haters). we do agree that the division is very weak.
