Jonathan Stewart underwent arthroscopic surgery Friday on his left ankle.
Stewart sustained the ankle sprain in Week 12 and remained sidelined for the rest of the season. With the current coaching shakeups in Carolina of Rob Chudzinski leaving for the Browns head coach job and the firing of RBs coach John Settle, the Panthers could shift to a power running scheme going forward. This would bode well for Stewart's 2013 fantasy prospects.
