Cowboys OLB DeMarcus Ware "hopes" he'll be ready for training camp after undergoing right shoulder surgery on Thursday.
According to ESPN Dallas, Ware could also eventually undergo a "minor" procedure on his hyperextended right elbow. Ware sounds likely to miss the Cowboys' entire offseason program, and will be shaky for the beginning of camp. Although there's no such thing as good missed time in camp, it wouldn't be a major concern for a veteran of Ware's status. Ware has never missed a game in eight NFL seasons. We fully expect him to be ready for Week 1.
