Mark Sanchez QB NYJ 12 Months
Mark Sanchez completed 17-of-35 passes for 205 yards, an interception, and lost a fumble in the Jets' Week 17 loss to the Bills.
Sanchez's brutal season mercifully comes to an end after he completed just 246-of-453 throws (54.3 percent) for 2,883 yards (6.36 YPA), 13 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions. He tacked on a whopping eight lost fumbles to account for 26 turnovers overall. Sanchez's completion rate was his worst since his rookie season, and his yards-per-attempt average was a career low. The YPA has actually dipped every year since Sanchez entered the league. Owed a fully guaranteed $8.25 million base salary in 2013, Sanchez will return to the Jets. They'd just better hope it isn't as a starter. Sanchez's precipitous decline is symbolic of the Jets as an organization under obviously-overmatched GM Mike Tannenbaum's "direction."
