Shonn Greene believes "something's got to change" at the quarterback...

6 Months New York Jets

Shonn Greene believes "something's got to change" at the quarterback position, and it's time to "see if somebody else can do it."

"You feel bad for Mark (Sanchez), but at the same time you want to win games. We're not here to protect people's feelings... If somebody's not getting the job done, you see if somebody else can do it. It's the same with coaching, or any position. You don't mean to belittle someone or say 'he sucks.' That's just the harsh reality," said Greene. This comes on the heels of an anonymous Jets player saying Tim Tebow is "terrible." There's a clear divide in the locker room, and it's obvious Greene thinks Sanchez is the terrible one. Players can think what they want, but things aren't expected to change any time in the immediate future. Sanchez will start in Week 11 against the Rams.

  • It is against Fleaflicker's terms of service to post offensive material.

Rex Ryan is an absolute moron and shouldnt have a job. If they put Tebow in, this team makes a run for the playoffs, this roster is more talented that what he had in Denver last year. With Sanchez they'll finish 5-11, Tebow, more around .500.

Greene needs to have a better rushing average and getting it done better before pointing fingers.....its not his job to decide who starts at what position, its his job to take the ball from the QB and carry it to the end zone....don't think sanchez is responsible for Greene's inability to do just that.....so why isn't he saying "I" need to be tougher after first contact and the line needs to get better????? No its easy to point fingers..there is discontent in Jets land....ya think??? LOL

Did green ever stop to wonder why they brought in Tebow? To convert goal line situations that he cant convert.

I don't like Tebow OR Sanchez much, but let's face it, they're not going to make the playoffs this year. They should be starting Tebow just to see what he's got.

He's right, and by his own logic he needs to be riding the pine too. Problem is they don't have a viable backup for either position.

lol who didn't see this implosion by the jets coming? Whoever decided to trade for Tebow in the Jet's front office has to be the dumbest person in the world.

Actually, he's 17th in yards from scrimmage, and tied for 13th in rush TDs. Middle of the pack back, doing a lot more work than dirty Sanch.

yeah sure some guys get hurt, others are in committees... his yards per carry is pathetic. he had one good game against a horrible team and that brought his averages up, look at the other 8 games he's played. dudes awful and should worry about his own job security instead of pointing fingers at Sanchez. bottom line.

Look at Sanchez's completion percentage. I agree about Greene's ypg, but damn, with that offensive line, both of them should be getting things done. Sanchez's completion percentage rivals Tebow's of last year. That is laughable for anyone, on his team or not.

change now-make tim starter-let sparano have full reign-see if it works-the myth is he can't throw-he just get make all the throws-if u get a read option/wildcat hybrid offense rolling then work in shots down the field-sanchez will never be answer anyway

Put in the tebow guy. This reminds me of Kyle Orton last year at Denver, except Denver had more talent then the jets and a better offensive line. Just blow this team up and start from scratch.
