Tony Romo QB DAL Nov 04 '12
Tony Romo completed 25-of-35 passes for 321 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in Dallas' Week 9 loss to the Falcons.
The turnover-free night was just his second of the season. The 300-yard effort was Romo's second straight, and fourth of the year, but came in an oddly ineffectual performance. With Dez Bryant (hip) playing limited snaps, Romo mostly dinked and dunked, and didn't cut loose until the fourth quarter, where he led the Cowboys on their only touchdown drive. By then it was too late, however, as Atlanta got the ball back with 5:21 remaining, draining all but 17 seconds. Romo's mistakes have grabbed the headlines, but he's far from the only reason Dallas finds itself 3-5 at the halfway point. He's on pace for 4,788 yards, 20 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. The yards would be a new career high by a significant margin, but so would the picks.
