Sidney Rice WR SEA Aug 08 '78
After missing much of the preseason and coming out of the gates slow, Sidney Rice has become the focal point of the Seattle passing offense.
Rice was recovering from dual shoulder surgeries and a concussion during training camp and preseason, so he and Russell Wilson failed to gain the chemistry desired between a quarterback and receiver. Golden Tate took on the role early in the season, but Rice has emerged and coaches are pushing him back to the forefront now. In the past four games, Rice has reeled in 14 passes compared to Tate's seven. Seattle runs the ball more than any team in the league, so Rice is the lone Seahawk receiver to own in 12-team leagues.
