Jason Hanson has won the Lions placekicker job, as expected.
Undrafted rookie Derek Dimke was cut on Monday. Hanson is 42, but still has one of the most powerful legs in the game. He has gone 8-for-11 on field goals of 50-plus yards over the last two seasons and is aided by the Ford Field dome.
