Titans KR/WR Marc Mariani's Thursday night leg fracture was of the compound variety. It was a brutal break and will require extensive recovery. The good news for Mariani is it occurred before the season started, as opposed to in November or December. Mariani underwent immediate, emergency surgery after suffering the injury. We suspect he won't be back until 2013 training camp at soonest.
