Forte compiled 54 yards on 17 carries and 27 yards on three receptions while failing to find the end zone in Sunday's 55-14 loss to the Packers.
Going against a Packers defense that ranked last in the league against run heading into Sunday, Forte looked like he might be the top fantasy option at running back for the week. However, the huge day many were expecting never materialized, as the Bears were quickly forced to abandon the run after trailing by 14 points by the end of the first quarter and 42 at halftime. The Packers defense proved surprisingly stout on the few occasions the Bears did opt to run, as Forte's 3.2 yards per carry represent his worst average since Week 3 against the Jets. Despite his presence on a deeply disappointing offense, Forte still remains a top-tier fantasy commodity due to his high volume of touches as a runner and receiver. Prior to Sunday's contest, he had accumulated over 100 total yards or scored a touchdown in five consecutive games. There's good odds that he'll achieve either or both of those performance markers in the Bears' Week 11 tilt with the Vikings.
Really, Forte? 54 yards against the Packers? 3.2 yards per carry? Against the Packers? Pathetic. I doubt anyone even claims you off waivers after I drop your ass!
Aaron Rodgers throwing 6 TD's in the first half pretty much eliminated the Bears' running game, which should be obvious. Forte usually provides solid production in rushing and receiving.
yes, so Forte is an awesome receiver out of the backfield. How does he end up with 27 yards given that the Bears weren't running for most of the game? The Bears are pathetic now.
Me, I've drafted him for the second season in a row - and he continues to produce fewer TDs than projected. I started him against the Lions over Tre Mason ... if Tre finds the end zone I'll really be pissed.

Not only didn't Dirk drop Forte, he has him as one of his keepers. No question it sucks when one of your studs lays an egg - like Marshawn did for me.

Mark caught me. I love Forte, more than is probably healthy.
