Cruz had six catches for 108 yards on 10 targets in Thursday's 45-14 win over the Redskins. While Cruz and Reuben Randle (8-89-0 on 10 targets) both had strong games, it was the Big Blue tight ends who gobbled up all four of Eli Manning's touchdown passes. Cruz nearly got in on the fun on the last play of the third quarter, but he was stopped two yards short of the goal line on a 20-yard gain. Even with Randle and TE Larry Donnell providing significant competition for targets, Cruz's stock is on the rise from its Week 2 nadir, due to his team's rediscovered offensive competence. The Giants also figure to add WR Odell Beckham (hamstring) to the mix in Week 5 or 6, but the rookie is more of a threat to Randle than to Cruz.

A 16-275-1 line for Cruz in the past three weeks, not-so-coincidentally coinciding with Eli's improved play. This puts him on pace for 80 or so catches for 1300 or so yards.

Cruz is fine. He's back to being a steady WR2 play most weeks.

agreed. pretty much what i expected, but still a sigh of relief is in order, considering i drafted him as a wr2/3 behind green and allen.

Allen needs to ''get going'' here pretty darn soon! Hopefully this week........

Keenan Allen was rated too high and likely won't have a similar impact as he did last year with M. Floyd coming back and L. Green getting more looks. The chargers are a possession team and the only reason Allen was so good last year was because he was the clear cut number 1. Granted he is no longer a rookie, so he should have more chem with rivers. I just think there are too many options on this "ok" offense. The injury to woodhead definitely helps his case as does mathews' injury so he may have a good next few weeks...

Eli confidence is back and his accuracy so that means cruz is back even though he never left if eli is not eli then it hurts cruz value now that eli is back to playing winning football the salsa dance will start again .

Man, Cruz was 1 yard short of adding a td last night.. But as long as he continues to actually catch balls, I'm good.
