Signs are pointing toward starting quarterback Josh McCown (thumb) sitting out this week, so the Buccaneers decided to add Kafka to the roster to provide some quarterback depth. Mike Glennon would serve as the Buccaneers' starter if McCown is unable to go, and Kafka would be his backup.
