The Redskins have cleared $2 million in salary cap room by reworking Santana Moss' contract. They're now believed to be roughly $3 million under the cap, giving the Skins some flexibility to sign a free-agent cornerback. Moss' restructure makes it likely he'll return to the slot-receiver role in Washington, though he may have to compete. Moss turns 34 in June. His salary previously was $4.15 million.
