Colt McCoy QB WAS May 23 '781 Comment
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says the Browns should keep QB Colt McCoy as their backup "unless someone offers a third-rounder."
Brandon Weeden appears locked in as the starter and they only figure to keep one of McCoy or Seneca Wallace as the backup. Wallace is a seasoned backup, but McCoy is younger (25), cheaper ($540,000), and better. At 32 and due a total of $5.25 million over the next two seasons, Wallace is a better candidate for release than trade.
