Manning completed 27-of-52 passes for 359 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Monday's 40-24 loss to the Colts. Though he didn't turn the ball over, Manning also didn't do much of note before the fourth quarter, when he tacked on a good chunk of his yards and both touchdown passes in garbage time. The huge fourth quarter was a delightful surprise for owners, and it likely flipped quite a few matchups, but it doesn't change the reality of the Giants' offensive struggles. The receivers and offensive line were both awful for much of Monday's game, and Manning also played rather poorly until it was too late. The combination of inaccurate throws, dropped passes and missed blocks made for a disastrous first half, one in which the Giants had seven punts, a lost fumble and a field goal on nine drives. The team's only touchdown drive before garbage time came in the third quarter, and it almost entirely consisted of long catch-and-run plays by Andre Williams and Odell Beckham. Further adding to Maning's woes, starting left guard Weston Richburg left the game with a leg injury that appears to be serious. Really, the only positives from the last few weeks have been Beckham's performance and a strong Week 7 showing against the Cowboys. Manning will face that same Dallas defense again in Week 12, but he must first travel to Seattle in Week 10, followed by a Week 11 home game against the 49ers.
